The bobby pins hands down!!! Strong enough to contain all this volume and really hold my hair in place, but they also slide out super easy without catching on my curls!! They’re truly a thing of wonder and beauty, I’m obsessed.
Webcams have a tendency to make heads look smaller, so styling your hair in a way that creates volume is going to work really well here. Since the camera is only going to see what you show it, you don’t even have to bother styling the back of your head if you don’t feel like it. If it’s been a while since your last colour and your roots are starting to show, you can always angle your camera a little bit lower to cut the roots right out of the frame!
Other Tips
In terms of body placement, be mindful of the fact that looking too casual and relaxed may not be the most flattering. Instead, sit tall and proud, facing head on the camera, with your arms on the table in front of you to maintain shape.
I hope that you use these tips and feel absolutely gorgeous on your next call happy Zooming!
The key product to add to your nighttime hair routine is a silk bonnet. When shopping around, make sure that the one you purchase is actually silk- on the inside and the outside. My bonett can you can shop here is exactly what I look for in this product. Silk creates a nice slip around your hair that keeps it from getting fuzzy or frizzy while you’re getting your beauty sleep. I also recommend looking for one that is adjustable, so that you can secure it to your head to ensure it doesn’t fall off. Be careful not to tie it too tight though, waking up with the band of the bonnet around your forehead is hardly ever cute! You’ll want to place your bonnet on your hair after you’ve secured it in place with your clips.
Q: What beauty advice would you give your younger self?
A: I would tell my younger self to do absolutely whatever they wanted. To buy those wild colours, mix prints, and be bold. I wasted so much time doubting myself and feared being judged by my peers, that I missed some crucial opportunities to express myself. Really, I would just encourage myself to be as weird and adventurous as my heart desired.

Over time they not only collect hair but also product residue and dead skin cells. Without a good clean, you risk putting all of that junk right back onto your freshly washed hair. Let’s fix that!
